Giving back to the community is an essential part of running a successful business. The more wealth and goodwill a company invests in its community, the more appreciation and business they can expect from the community. This in turn leads to higher sales, a better social presence and — most importantly — a healthier world.

Argo Tea
Argo Tea is one of the many companies that donates to charity. It chooses a new charity to work with annually as a way of spreading wealth and generosity. Argo Tea’s ChariTea program focuses on donating a percentage of its net proceeds from seasonal drinks to its annual charity. It’s also committed to supporting environmental sustainability, women’s rights and the growth of culture.
Honest Tea
The company Honest Tea supports the Whole Kids Foundation, which is a charitable organization founded by Whole Foods to educate children on proper nutrition. The organization also aims to provide healthy opportunities to children, because knowing how to eat healthy means nothing unless you’re also able to eat healthy. These programs include Salad Bars in Schools, Garden Grants and Healthy Teachers Program.
Drink Bai
When you talk about brands that give back, no list would be complete without mentioning Drink Bai. The company teamed up with Zac Brown Band to offer exciting and enriching experiences to children of all backgrounds and abilities. A portion of the proceeds from its Castaway Molokai Coconut beverage goes toward funding the continuation of the band’s Camp Southern Ground.
Me and the Bees Lemonade
Me and the Bees Lemonade was founded on the idea of giving back to the community. Founder Mikaila wanted to help save the bees, so they can continue pollinating the many foods we take for granted. In addition to investing a portion of the company’s profits in organizations fighting to save honeybees, she also supports Heifer International, the Texas Beekeepers Association and the Sustainable Food Center of Austin.
Odwalla
Odwalla’s mission is simple: plant trees. Trees give us clean water, healthy soil and fresh air, yet their existence is often overlooked — but not by Odwalla. Since 2007, it planted over 730,000 trees to improve the environment in its immediate community and the entire world.
