Memorial Day is almost here. Most people have patriotic BBQs with their friends and family to remember our soldiers and thank them for their sacrifice. Change it up this year and pair your BBQ food with these Memorial Day-inspired drinks that will satisfy both adults and children.
Raspberry Fizz
This non-alcoholic fizzy drink is a red gradient-colored drink that will go along with all of your patriotic decorations. To make this drink, you’ll just need 2 ounces of red grapefruit juice, ½ to 1 ounce of raspberry flavoring syrup, ice cubes, and 6 ounces of chilled club soda. Make your sweet, raspberry dreams come true by combining the juice and syrup in a glass over ice and top it off with the club soda.
Cranberry Limeade
Another red non-alcoholic drink to go along with your patriot vibes is the cranberry limeade. This sweet, refreshing drink will go with anything from the grill while you’re hanging out in the sun. Just get 2-½ t0 3-½ cups of water (divided), 1-¼ cups of sugar, 2-3 cups of cranberry juice, 1-½ cups of lime juice (10-12 medium limes), 1 tablespoon of grated lime zest, ice, and lime slices (for decoration). Red, White, & Blue Boozy Slush
This slushy for those 21+ includes all three patriotic colors in one. If this drink doesn’t represent America, we’re not sure what does! To make this drink have all three colored-layers, you’ll need to make them separately.
Red: Include 1 ¼ cup of strawberries (quartered), 2 ounces of Smirnoff Red, White, & Blue Berry Vodka, and a ¼ cup of lemonade.
White: Grab 2 cups of ice, 2 ounces of Smirnoff Red, White, & Blue Berry Vodka, and 1 cup of lemonade.
Blue: You’ll need 2 cups of ice, 2 ounces of Blue Curacao, and 1 cup of lemonade.
Blend each layer separately and pour accordingly!
