Juan Collins

Looking to add to your repertoire of tequila mixed drinks? Tequila drinks are a summer staple and the Juan Collins a perfect addition! Simple ingredients including tequila, lemon juice, agave nectar, and a top quality club soda made from spring water make a refreshing twist on this classic cocktail.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces tequila

 

1 ounce lemon juice

 

1/2 ounce agave nectar

 

2 oz. Schweppes club soda (or enough to top the glass)

 

Garnish: Lemon, lime wedge

Instructions:

Pour the tequila, lemon juice, and nectar into a Collins glass filled with ice cubes. Stir thoroughly and top with club soda. Garnish with a citrus wedge.

Perfect Cosmopolitan

Ingredients: 

 

4 oz. citrus vodka

 

2 oz. Cointreau

 

2 oz. cranberry juice

 

Juice of 1/2 lime

 

Ice

 

Lime wedge, for garnish

 

Cranberries, for garnish

Instructions: 

  1. Add vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake until well chilled. 

  2. Strain drink into a martini glasses and garnish with a lime wedge and cranberries.

Cucumber Gin Fizz

Have some extra cucumber in your garden this year? Plenty of gin drinks love a good cucumber, including this gin fizz. A classic British cocktail, this light and refreshing recipe is enjoyed with a splash of tonic for that delightful sparkle.

Ingredients:

cucumber 1, peeled

 

ice cubes 6

 

gin 100ml

 

lime 1 small, sliced

 

tonic water 100-150ml, chilled

Instructions:

  1. Cut the cucumber into 3-4 lengths and blitz to a purée in a food processor or blender. Pass through a fine sieve into a jug.

  2. Put three ice cubes in each glass and pour over the gin, followed with half the lime squeezed between the two glasses and the other half sliced thinly and shared again. Mix in the cucumber juice and top up with tonic
