What You Should Bring to the Holiday Table

• Prosciutto, thinly sliced

• Radishes, in quarters

• Crackers
• Halved and seeded sweet mini bell peppers
• Wine or non-alcoholic wine (red and white)

Directions:

1. Cut cantaloupe into slices, wrapping them with prosciutto.
2. Arrange the hard cheeses and port wine cheese on a wooden serving board
3. Fill in the spaces with olives, radishes, cantaloupe, cornichons, bell peppers and crackers.
4. Serve wine in wine glasses alongside the board.

Martini Mashed Potato Bar

Who doesn’t like a hot serving of homemade mashed potatoes smothered in cheese, sour cream and bacon? Try this recipe for your next holiday gathering. You can either place individual servings in martini glasses for your guests to add toppings, or you can reserve the glasses for actual martinis: your choice!

You will need:

• 16 potatoes
• 12 tbsp salted butter
• 4 tbsp whole milk or heavy cream
• 2 tsp sea salt to taste
• 2 tsp ground black pepper to taste

Toppings:

• 1 1/2cupssalted butter
• 1 1/2cupssour cream
• 3 cups cheese sauce
• 12 ounces shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
• 2 cups minced red onion
• 2 cups chopped green onion
• 2 cups choppedchives
• 6 cups cookedbroccoli
• 6 cups sloppy joe meat
• 1 1/2 cups bacon,cooked and crumbled
• 4 1/2 cups chopped ham

Directions:

Prepare the mashed potato as you normally do, place in a large serving pot or crockpot, and set out individual bowls of the toppings. You can scoop potatoes in martini glasses and encourage guests to add their own toppings, or you can serve cocktails in them separate from the potatoes.

You will need:

• 5 oz rum
• .75 oz lemon juice
• .75 oz simple syrup
• 1 strawberry

Directions:
Muddle strawberry in a shaker, then add all other ingredients as well as ice. Shake and strain into martini glasses. Garnish with cranberry and mint sprig.
